Andrew York classical guitar player

I saw Andrew York perform for a small crowd at a Borders bookstore in the mid 1990's I just happened to be there at the right time and i enjoyed his playing very much.

I appreciate that York and others such as Ralph Towner contribute compositionally and expand the horizon of guitar music. Music coming from a more contemporary or fresh approach is what I enjoy listening to.

Andrew York is certainly a fresh breeze to listen to. He plays a piece "The Call" which has a nice arabic touch to it. Another tune that caught my attention is called "Chilean Dance.
