Almansa 434

by Charlie McCown
(Orlando, Florida USA)

The Almansa model 434 is a wonderful moderately priced classical guitar. Light weight and comfortable to play, the 434 features a solid cedar top and laminated rosewood sides and back. The purfling is butt jointed, but very well executed. THe lacquer finish is clean and appropriately thick.

The main thing with this factory guitar is the tremendous sound. It competes easily with classicals of two or three times the price. Rich and resonance with that Spanish growl, the Almansa is the epitome of Spanish guitars at a truly affordable price.
Highly recommended: This guitar also records very well and is a good choice for the recording studio when that Spanish sound is called for.
