Hand made East India Rosewood with a Red Cedar top. Guitar is in pristine condition with fitted hard shell case. Built in 2004, Robert Pimentel told me this guitar new would cost about $8,000. It's a bargain at $4,500.

The Pimentels are New Mexico based Luthiers whose instruments are used by some very top tier players, both Classical, and Flamenco.

Here's a link to their web site:

Serious seller; owner is sick and has medical bills that must be paid. Make a decent offer and you might be the proud owner of this beautiful (and wonderful-sounding) instrument.

Shipping costs to nearly any point in the Continental US will be about $275.

Email me at don at etchedforever dot com with any questions.

Thanks!

Don

Bet I didn't?

You bet I didn't? Yah ok whatever... I not only bought an E. Indian made by Lorenzo but a Brazilian Rosewood Flamenca Negra... I have been to their shop several times and waited months on 2 separate occasions for my guitar to be made by Lorenzo and then drove to pick them up each time.
Your guitar is worth 2K tops....
Lorenzo was a great man... I loved him and will miss him.. his kids? Another story..

Best of luck in finding a sucker to buy that one.

Why don't you look at their website and check prices? I'm sure you got a good deal on your purchase, but I'd bet money you didn't buy that instrument from the Pimentels.

East Indian Rosewood... um, I thought that's what I said. Read the post again. Where did I say it was made by Lorenzo? Nowhere. It was, in fact, made by Robert.

Price in the marketplace is determined by what a buyer is willing to pay. Pimentels have a solid reputation and sell these guitars worldwide. I thought Robert's opinion was worthwhile, given that fact.

Pimentel Guitar Value
by: Anonymous

Robert may have well told you that... but it was a bold face lie....
That guitar you have for sale is an E. Indian Rosewood... NOT made by Lorenzo Pimentel who has now passed. It probably was made by Robert. I owned a E. Indian Rosewood that was made by Lorenzo in 97. I paid $2,500. $8,000? Please..
