1982 Takamine Hirade Master Arte Model 7

by Aaron
(Virginia)

This is a handcrafted luthier signed classical, the progenitor to the Takamine H5, solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides, rosewood bridge, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard without markers, wood bindings, gold tuners with pearloid buttons, 2-1/6" nut width, 662mm scale. This concert grade instrument produces lots of volume and has great tone and balance. These early Hirade guitars were signed by Master Luthier, Mass Hirade

There are about 6-7 nicks around the guitar, the largest being about the size of a dime. No real eye sores, but normal wear and tear for a nearly 30 year old instrument. This is all superficial marks on the finish and does not affect the sound or playability of the instrument. They are hard to notice unless you get really close. I'm a professional guitarist and I've done a number of recitals on this instrument, I've always loved how much this guitar can really project. I've taken care of it and it's in great shape. I will include a HSC.

Did you sell this? How much did you get for it? I have one in great shape and they seem to be rare.
