Mitsuru Tamura Model 1000 Classical Guitar

This is a solid wood classical built by Mitsuru Tamura in 1977. He was known for choosing Perfect tone woods. The craftsmanship is top of the line, and although the Tamura Bros. are lesser known, their work is on par with some of the good Spanish makers.
Tone and projections is terrific. The top is tight grain
spruce, back and sides are figured solid rosewood, very nicely matched. Neck is mahogany, fingerboard rosewood.
The tuners are reminiscent of good quality Japnanese makers like Kohno. Scale is 664.
If you like the crisp sound of a spruced top classical, this is a good candidate. Basses are strong, and trebles are clear with good sustain above the 10th fret.
Action is perfect. Nothing not to like about this guitar.
