by Mike
(Hamilton, NJ -- USA)

Having studied un the Maestro -- Segovia. and having such a love for the instrument and the composers, to stay true to their interpretations of the music. He by far is one of the best guitarists in the world.

My friend ~ I know you mean well. But Chris Parkening was never acknowledge as a "Great Interpreter" of serious musical literature. We knew him well. He a "Knak" as a kid for the right and left hand coordination to play the instrument. He was not a "Music Major" as we perceive one to be.

Further, we suggest you go onto You Tube, Vimeo and other sites to see STERLING technichians and musicians of a SUPERIOR ability to play.

In his time, he was one of the "FIrst Guys Out Of The Shoot", so to speak. But his playing today is considered "Antiquated", as is Segovia's.

Good Luck.
