Our classical guitar eZine, Classical Guitar Word, was launched at the end of July. We are talking to a number of potential contributers but already have three terrific people committed to write for the eZine. They are ...
Professor Derek Day
of North Carolina in the USA, a highly regarded classical guitarist and teacher.
Zeca Corrales
, Brazils's leading exponent of the ten string Viola Caipira.
The plan is to build an ezine resource which celebrates the skills of classical guitar makers, players and teachers. As a friend of the acclaimed acoustic guitarist and composer, Gordon Giltrap, I'm aware that talent doesn't guarantee the success and recognition that a person deserves. Gordon's virtuosity and showmanship should have been rewarded with far greater public acclaim than it has.
Championing Talent
The Classical Guitar Word eZine will always be a champion of all those talented people in the world of classical guitar who focus on their art and skills and not the pursuit of fame. The intention is to increase the profile of all the talented people who play, build and teach the instrument.
As the list of contributors grows I'm confident that the eZine will provide the best coverage of the classical guitar scene. You'll get the news from the point of view of classical guitar manufacturers, players and teachers, all real experts in their field.
