Classical Guitar Word, Issue #001 -- News From The World Of Classical Guitar July 31, 2007 |
![]() Welcome to the first issue of Classical Guitar Word. The eZine will be circulated to subscribers on a monthly basis with occasional additional issues when news warrants it. I'm talking to a number of potential contributors and hope to have most of them on board before the August edition. This issue is short and sweet just to get things rolling and test the system. The WebsiteAlthough just a few weeks old our website is growing rapidly. Traffic is increasing day by day and our Alexa rating is climbing. I'm delighted by the response so far.At this early stage I'm looking for feedback and suggestions. I'd like the website to take it's lead from it's visitors and particularly from this eZine's subscribers. If you have any classical guitar related ideas or requests that can be incorporated into the site please let me know. You can email me at the return address at the top of this page or use one of the contact forms on the website. Giannini Classical GuitarsWithin two weeks of launching the website I was in discussion with Giannini, the Brazilian guitar maker. Giannini guitars haven't been represented in the UK for some time and we have been negotiating to become the appointed UK distributor for these instruments. We're just tidying up a few details before making the final announcement.
Although distributor for the UK we'll be able to ship anywhere in the world and I'll certainly be looking to build relationships with Giannini users all over the globe.
Website AdditionsI've added two new pages to the site today. The first is a page dedicated to the great John Williams and the second is a brief guide to buying beginners classical guitar starter kits.I'll be in touch again soon, hopefully to announce our first contributors.
