Ramirez 1A 1992

by Max Gossell
(Malmö, Sweden)

I'm selling the Ramirez I used on the first Progetto Avanti album released back in 1997 (named "Orchestral Illusions" worldwide but "Orchestral Classics for Two Guitars" in the US, UK and Canada).

The guitar can be heard here (left channel):
http://conarte.se/avanti/standard/n3_cd_orchclassics.html

Back in 1992 we represented Sweden at the World Expo in Seville, Spain, and as we were performing our duo verion of "Concierto de Aranjuez" we were invited to Maestro Rodrigo's home in Madrid to perform for him as well. There we met Amalia Ramirez, who invited us to their shop.

In the shop, I personally picked this exceptional guitar from 8 different 1A guitars presented by her brother, Jose Ramirez IV. He had recently started to improve the guitars made in the sixties, and the instrument I picked was completely outstanding!

This type of guitar was named "Traditional Classic" and you can read about it on:
http://www.guitarrasramirez.com/english/guitarrasDeProfesionalEn.html

I'm selling this extremely good Ramirez for 4.000 Euro, including a hand made wooden flight case (made by an australien builder for 500 Australian dollars).

If interested, email me:
