The label may say Madrid, but the guitar was definitely built in Japan ala Sherry Brenner from Chicago.

you could get one anytime on ebay for $250. Best to keep it or give it to a friend, these just don't get much due to there japanese origin.

Dont put down the japan made guitars,many of them at certain times were made very well.I play an old 1987 fender squire strat that kicks all the other strats buts.As for the garcia guitars made in japan they play very good.
