A custom-made, hand-built, NYLON-string replica of the famous petit bouche, oval hole Selmer gypsy guitar made famous by Django Reinhardt. This instrument is truly one-of-a-kind, with a scale length and dimensions the same as its steel-string mentor. Conceived and constructed to be a nylon-string version of Django's Selmer, it replicates that look as closely as possible albeit using a traditional classical guitar bridge and 12-fret neck. Painstakingly built in 2007 with stunning workmanship and outstanding attention to detail by luthier Jesus Jurado for Dell Arte Guitars of San Diego, CA. Neck is standard classical width at nut (2?) with a comfortably slim profile. Sound is loud, focused, and precise with booming basses and clear singing trebles. Professionally installed Big Tone under-saddle piezo pickup. Condition is excellent, seeing only light non-professional studio use. Custom tweed hardshell case with red plush lining included. More photos on request. $1500 INCLUDES SHIPPING to USA48.
