I totally agree with the entire article; I bought my 457 on ebay for $700 US and I think it was a great deal....not a scratch...you are also right about the chunky neck....I like to thumb the low E , ( I know I'm not supposed to...) it is nearly impossible on my 457, but I don't have the "guts" to modify it!
