CEDAR IN KOHNO NOT AS NICE AS SPRUCE NEW
by: BILL

I've had a #15 in cedar, and I have a #20, in spruce...I sold the cedar 3 months after buying it. I wouldn't sell the 20....a well known luthier mentioned to me that building in cedar is a different animal than spruce,...you can't simply transfer top specs from spruce to cedar...if you look at the market, cedar top sakurai and kohno, in the aftermarket, always seem to sell for less than same model in spruce.
jUST MY OBSERVATION.
There's a spruce #20 at Dream Guitars about the same as this ask....and correct me Frank, but this has been for sale for about 2 years, right?
